Deboned ostrich rump roast stuffed with Clemengold, apples & cranberries
Brand new at Woolworths is this absolutely delicious and healthy deboned ostrich rump roast stuffed with Clemengold, apples & cranberries and topped with garlic and herb butter.
Pre-heat oven to 200 °C. Remove ostrich roast from plastic bag and place into the foil tray.
Place the foil tray in the centre of the oven on a baking sheet and oven roast for 15 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 160 °C and roast for another 15 – 20 minutes.Allow the roast to stand for 10 minutes before carving. Carefully remove the rope trussing before carving. Add 1 tablespoon of thick cream or crème fraîche to the roast juices for extra flavour – serving suggestion.
Cut into slices and serve with steamed green beans and garlicky olives and a potato bake, and slices of sticky citrus.

To make roast potatoes in minutes, preheat the oven to 200°C. Arrange the potatoes on a baking tray, drizzle with 1 T olive oil and toss.
Add a little butter, season with sea salt and few sprigs of rosemary for fl avour.
Roast for 40 minutes, shaking the baking tray every now and then to ensure even colour and cooking.

Woolworths hake fillets on special now!
